I haven't mentioned it all here, but in 2023 I organized symposiums and gave lectures at the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine, the Japanese Society for Neuroscience, the Japanese Society for Neurochemistry, and the Japanese Society for Molecular Biology. I also published a few papers with clinical departments, but major papers are a struggle to come by.

We held the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) research results publication program "Inspiration and Excitement in Science." Students from fifth grade to third grade of junior high school participated in the program, which focused on the theme of "Regenerating lost functions! What is regenerative medicine?" and allowed them to experience the excitement of science by seeing, hearing, and touching things firsthand.

・Dr. Oishi (graduate student, hospital assistant professor) received a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Basic C). The theme is inflammation. All members of the lab received Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research.
・Dr. Ishikawa (Obstetrics and Gynecology, our university) who was researching in the lab, had his thesis accepted and received his doctorate. He is the second person to receive this degree this year, following Dr. Okamoto. We wish him well.

Dr. Dai Oishi has joined our lab as a graduate student (Cell Biology, Graduate School of Medicine). Dr. Oishi is a highly active doctor in the emergency department, and is active on the doctor helicopter. He is a very energetic doctor. He will be conducting research into inflammation control, so let's do our best.
